1. Terms of Service
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using CodeClocker (the "Plugin") and the CodeClocker Hub platform (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Plugin or Service.
1.2 Description of Service
CodeClocker provides a time tracking solution for IntelliJ IDEs that monitors and records:
- Coding time and duration
- Project names
- Development activity patterns
- Version control system metrics (lines added/removed)
- Productivity insights and analytics
1.3 User Accounts
Account Creation: To use CodeClocker, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your account information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
1.4 Subscription and Payment
Pricing:
- Monthly subscription: $5 per month
- Annual subscription: $48 per year (20% savings)
Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your subscription.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. We do not store your credit card information.
1.5 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for new users. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically begin unless you cancel before the trial ends.
1.6 Acceptable Use
Permitted Use:
- Personal productivity tracking
- Project time allocation analysis
- Development workflow optimization
Prohibited Use - You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Plugin
- Use the Service to track individuals without their knowledge and consent
- Circumvent any security features or access restrictions
- Share your account credentials with others
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your own business
1.7 Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data collected through your use of CodeClocker. We do not claim ownership of your coding activity data. However, we may use aggregated, anonymized data for research and service improvement purposes.
1.8 Intellectual Property
CodeClocker, including the Plugin, Service, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Plugin and Service in accordance with these Terms.
1.9 Service Availability
While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
1.10 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
1.11 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
1.12 Termination
By You: You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription through the CodeClocker Hub platform.
By Us: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, engage in fraudulent activities, or pose a security risk.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to the Service will be immediately revoked. We may delete your account data after 90 days. You remain liable for any outstanding fees.
1.13 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and sending notification to your registered email address. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
1.14 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:

- Cancel through your payment provider
Cancellation takes effect:
- At the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to the Service until the end of the paid period
- No partial refunds for unused time within the billing period
- Your data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation
3.2 Refund Policy
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee:
- All subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of any payment
- To request a refund, contact codeclocker@gmail.com with your account email
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method
3.4 Failed Payments
- If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment using your stored payment method
- You will receive email notifications about failed payments
- Your account will be suspended after 3 failed payment attempts
- To restore access, update your payment method and contact support
3.5 Price Changes
- We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time
- Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
- Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate for one billing cycle
- You may cancel your subscription before the price change takes effect
3.6 Subscription Downgrades
- You may switch from annual to monthly billing at the end of your annual period
- Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
- No prorated refunds for switching from annual to monthly plans
3.7 Account Reactivation
- Canceled accounts can be reactivated within 90 days without data loss
- After 90 days, historical data may be deleted
- Reactivation requires a new subscription payment
- Previous refund eligibility does not transfer to new subscriptions
