Welcome to CodeClocker. By accessing or using our IntelliJ IDEA plugin and associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using CodeClocker (the "Plugin") and the CodeClocker Hub platform (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Plugin or Service.

2. Description of Service

CodeClocker provides a time tracking solution for IntelliJ IDEs that monitors and records:

• Coding time and duration
• Project names and details
• Development activity patterns
• Version control system metrics (lines added/removed)
• Team collaboration statistics (for team subscriptions)

The collected data is synchronized with the CodeClocker Hub platform for analysis and reporting.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use CodeClocker, you must create an account on the CodeClocker Hub platform. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Types

CodeClocker offers two account types:

• Individual Account: For personal use by a single developer
• Team Account: For organizations managing multiple team members

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Pricing

• Individual subscription: $4 per month
• Team subscription: $14 per seat per month

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your subscription.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• Full refunds are available within 14 days of any payment
• To request a refund, contact codeclocker@gmail.com with your account email

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will apply to subsequent billing cycles.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use CodeClocker for:

• Personal productivity tracking
• Team performance monitoring
• Project time allocation analysis
• Development workflow optimization

5.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Plugin
• Use the Service to track individuals without their knowledge and consent
• Circumvent any security features or access restrictions
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to collect data from third parties without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload malicious code or viruses

6. Data Collection and Privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using CodeClocker, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

6.1 Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data collected through your use of CodeClocker. We do not claim ownership of your coding activity data.

6.2 Data Access

For team accounts, team administrators have access to activity data for all team members. By joining a team, you consent to this data sharing.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

CodeClocker, including the Plugin, Service, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Plugin and Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Service Availability

8.1 Uptime

While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible.

8.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits or revenue
• Loss of data
• Loss of business opportunities
• Interruption of business

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CodeClocker and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription through the CodeClocker Hub platform.

12.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Pose a security risk to the Service

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will be immediately revoked
• We may delete your account data after 90 days
• You remain liable for any outstanding fees

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Sending notification to your registered email address
• Displaying a notice within the Service

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law
